I've forked repo and vibe-slopped together a fix - https://github.com/fabrizziop/vyos-1x/tree/T9291-net-name-resolve-keep-no-hw-id-names
Seems to work fine on the same instance I did the upgrade in.
Will submit PR.
Will be available in the next rolling release.
https://github.com/FRRouting/frr/pull/22921 got merged can we ask the frr project for a backport or do it self?
@canoziia Hi! Please check if the latest nightly build resolves the issue you described - https://vyos.net/get/nightly-builds/

Thank you for your contribution
I fixed and approved it and left some comments for any future PRs
Should be fixed by https://github.com/accel-ppp/accel-ppp/pull/330 - though I haven't tested it yet, as the buggy Phicomm routers from my network had been sent to e-waste where they belong.

At the moment, there are requests for changes; the status of the PR is waiting for the author
Gonna bump this. It's been more than a month since this was put in and still hasn't been fixed.
Did anything land in 1.5.1 to help with this one?
Could you attach your configuration or at least the minimal set of commands to reproduce?
