I think there is a similar issue for wireguard static routes. In 1.5-rolling-202412310006 the routes are not being added. Works fine in older releases.

@fetzerms thanks for reporting - this fix slipped through and will be part of 1.4.2
c-po changed the status of T6992: lsb_release reports the system to be debian from Open to In progress.
We found the source of the problem, thanks for testing! The only officially supported way to retrieve version information is show version or its API equivalent but we should certainly play nice with external tools even if we don't officially support them.

I was able to replicate this when I didn't have a system dns server set. It is failing because it can't resolve the URL

I apologize if this is the incorrect place. Running 1.5-rolling-202412160007 in a qemu/kvm, and it appears to be missing the qemu guest agent ( qemu-guest-agent.service -> /usr/sbin/qemu-ga ).

It appears the udev rule was originally based on https://github.com/systemd/systemd/blob/main/rules.d/60-serial.rules#L12 which has the correct rule per this PR, as mentioned above the rule was broken in https://github.com/vyos/vyos-1x/commit/fa07bc3b87be142572124a2ce5c077cb42272418
