I am facing the same issue, are there any plans to expand the DHCP configuration? I see there is a vendor specific option for Ubiquiti. Option 150 is primarily used by Cisco phones. Can it be added as a vendor specific option?

@tjjh89017 yes - we removed --allow-downgrades during the 1.4 development cycle which was hard. There is no plan to reintroduce it. Infact your patch is a better solution and we will adjust/merge this. Also once we run trixie our plan is to ditch this workaround again.

I have created a lab
Underlay: OSPF. The main function is to distribute Loopback IPs.
Overlay:
Control Plane: MP-iBGP. The main function is to distribute EVPN routes.
Data Plane: VXLAN
RR is a router reflector.
VTEP-1A and VTEP-1B contain the same ES via interface eth1
HOST-1 and HOST-2 are in the same network. 192.168.100.10/24 and 192.168.100.20/24 respectivly.
VTEP-1B is a DF router of these ES

--allow-downgrades may lead some other unexpected behavior in the future with other changes.
VyOS rebuilds OpenSSL with other option differs to Debian one, I think that it makes sense to append version string to determine debian ver or vyos ver.
And once upgrade to trixie, we could remove openssl build and install openssl with openssl-provider-fips.
