Right now we are using type: ipv4 in some hand-coded node.def's where the value is really a dotted decimal. It's an abuse of the fact that the old "ipv4" validator is primitive and will pass anything that looks like two numbers from 0 to 255 separated by dots.

This is not good. We need a special validator for that.
