Reported in the forums @ https://forum.vyos.io/t/fe80-eth0-does-not-appear-to-be-a-valid-address/2600/9

The problem is that some IPv6 addresses reported by the system (link-local addresses) contain an interface suffix (like %eth0) this was not properly handeled in the validator script.
