Description

Intel igc driver in vyos 1.3 equuleus is too old to properly support the new Intel 2.5 GbE nics (i225, i226), which are common these days, and available in many router-focused boards with multiple Intel 2.5 GbE ports in them.

We also have an existing bug report (T4466) about the igc driver being out-of-date in 1.3, and not detecting link correctly.

We should update the igc driver in equuleus to a newer version. There are patches linked in T4466
