Hi, as I see, we have no possibility to override default logrotate.d/vyos-rsyslog settings for /var/log/messages file which is not allowing to store more local logs in one place.
Apart from that, adding additional logrotate rule with "set system syslog file $filename archive" is good, but lacking of "daily", "weekly" and other useful options really reduce capability of log analyzing.

Could you please add this functionality?
