Description

Associate the Ethernet interface (e.g. eth0) with a particular Ethernet NIC. When the system starts up, if no hw-id is specified for a particular interface the system will set it. If a hw-id is specified then the Ethernet interface is associated with that NIC.

This can not be changed during run-time
