hi,

I think it would be nice to have an option which frr daemons are allowed to run. This could also save
memory on smaller systems.

Hi rherold!

There are plans to allow this, a daemon will not start before it is activated by creating a process in the cli, but as always there are some kinks to work out to make it work as expected.. eg. Config that is supposed to be syncronized between daemons will not automatically sync into the newly started process.. and so on..

Hi runar,

I don't think that this will be task that users do on daily basis. So it would be enough if you must restart the system in the first step as long frr has no own function for this.
