interfaces vpp xconnect <name> disable` is accepted by the CLI but has no effect
Steps to reproduce
configure set interfaces vpp xconnect vppxcon0 member interface eth1 set interfaces vpp xconnect vppxcon0 member interface eth2 commit
Confirm is active:
sudo vppctl show interface addr
Expected output :
eth1 (up): L2 xconnect eth2 eth2 (up): L2 xconnect eth1
Now set disable and commit:
configure set interfaces vpp xconnect vppxcon0 disable commit
Check again:
sudo vppctl show interface addr
Expected result
Either:
the Layer 2 cross-connect between the two members is torn down or removed
Actual result
commit succeeds with no error in both cases. `sudo vppctl show interface
addr` same output
eth1 (up): L2 xconnect eth2 eth2 (up): L2 xconnect eth1
