When doing for example "show interfaces" or for that matter when in configuration mode and doing for example "set service dns forwarding ?" text that overflows linebreaks to a new line and makes the rest harder to read.
In the first case "Description" gets cut off so "Descri" is on one line and "ption" along with its "-------" is on another line.
While in the second case there is the command and then some description of that command.
Here we will see that for example description of "dhcp" will have "forward requ" on one line and then on next (from the left) continue with "ests to".
For that second case a linebreak is needed however it would be better looking and easier to read if it would continue with the same tabspace as the description started with at "Interfaces whose DHCP client" and so on.
Like instead of:
+ dhcp Interfaces whose DHCP client nameservers to forward requ ests to
It would be nice if it could be:
+ dhcp Interfaces whose DHCP client nameservers to forward requ
ests toor better yet:
+ dhcp Interfaces whose DHCP client nameservers to forward
requests to.While at the same time it would be handy if the width wouldnt be hardcoded to 80 chars (assuming default console is 80x25 or so) so it will still autoadjust like if you login using SSH you can make use of the full width where there would be no linebreaks/overflows.
That is with SSH and a window larger than 80 chars the above would look like:
+ dhcp Interfaces whose DHCP client nameservers to forward requests to.
