There was a problem with SSH sessions hanging when the system is rebooted. Then someone, I don't remember who, could be either Alex Harpin, @UnicronNL, or @kouak found a way to fix it. I don't remember what the fix was, will have to dig through commits to find it.

Anyway, that problem is back and we have to find a new fix.
